Acrylic Dispersion by Annette Kunow

The acryl paintings are made with pure pigments. To a water pigment mixture the binder is added to the acryl dispersion.

The amount of the acrylic dispersion creates a glossy or mat acrylic color. According to adding water, the color can be applied pastos as an oil, but also like watercolours are processed. The quantity of pigments produces a smooth or pastel-like surface.

After drying, the color of the resin is waterproof.

I like especially the surface structure of the acrylic paintings, which can be sometimes smooth or rigid, due to the composition of the color.

I learned this type of color production during a workshop of the artist Elvira Bach.
