FATHER GIRI'S DIARY, A PILGRIM'S JOURNEY by Judith Lungen

Having finished writing an original full-length motion
picture film script entitled FATHER GIRI'S DIARY,
I delved into creating
The Diary Artwork.

With over 3 dozen digital paintings completed, the
artwork evolved into a 'STAND-ALONE PROJECT.'

To differentiate between the script, the art collection
is known as FATHER GIRI'S DIARY, A PILGRIM'S
JOURNEY COLLECTION.

Encouraged by friends and colleagues, I submitted
a selection of digital paintings
to art competitions.

60 international juried exhibitions and publications,
recipient of 39 awards and citations between 2021 & 2022.

WHAT THEY'RE SAYING ABOUT THE PRINTS:

*Stunning, inspired Art - absolutely gorgeous*
*You created Beauty, everything else falls away!*
*I'm almost speechless at how beautiful the paintings are in person*
*The true gravity of them in person is just MAGICAL*
*Can't thank you enough, they are breathtakingly beautiful!*

ARTIST QUOTES:

"By creating the fictitious Father Giri, a Catholic Priest from
India who travels to Jerusalem on holy pilgrimage in the
autumn of 1957, I am completely free to explore and
merge Hebraic, Hindu, Catholic, Ethiopian,
Islamic and Yoruban themes and images"

"The true essence of Art is Grace and only through Grace
can humanity dissolve discord misunderstandings,
religious conflicts, wrong thinking and prejudice."
