This is an idea I had been wanting to put together for the past 3 years. I recently retired as a graphic designer and this has given me the time to finally put my idea together. My new 2D art is bold, colorful and transparent, utilizing light between the different layers to cast ever changing shadows that depict depth. I draw my inspiration for the ocean that I look out upon everyday from my Long Beach studio.
