NEW 2D WORK

posted by Sallie-Anne Swift

This is an idea I had been wanting to put together for the past 3 years. I recently retired as a graphic designer and this has given me the time to finally put my idea together. My new 2D art is bold, colorful and transparent, utilizing light between the different layers to cast ever changing shadows that depict depth. I draw my inspiration for the ocean that I look out upon everyday from my Long Beach studio. It is very important to me as an artist, that my work has longevity and will stand the test of time so I have been extremely selective, researched and tested all my materials ensuring that they are all durable and will last for many years to come. http://sallieswiftart.com

VISIONI SFUMATE

posted by Michelle Hold
