A resident of British Columbia, Canada, I was born in Zanzibar, Tanzania.  The mountains, the lakes. the variety of trees, the colours of nature, the sunshine and the shadows fascinate me. When life afforded me some precious time in the busy schedule of lifestyle changes of a new country, I was blessed in discovering visual arts.  I paint in oils, acrylics and watercolours.  
My paintings are of home that used to be and of my adopted home, Canada. I love bright happy colours, the busy people, flowers and animals in their natural surroundings.
Although the blessings of painting came to me much later in life than I would have liked, I know I am very much blessed.
