Paula Burger Landscape Artist:
As a young girl, Paula was very interested in animals, especially dogs and horses. Growing up as a teenager, she decided to try her hand at drawing horses in pencil, in her own time, and took Art in High School where she learned to draw trees, old barns and landscape.
After raising her family, a friend asked her if she would like to learn how to paint in acrylics. After the first session, she discovered that the Internet was a great source of 'Learning How to Paint'. She was captivated by 'Bob Ross' with his mountains and beautiful landscapes, which he painted so easily.
Paula then joined the art group called 'The Brown Baggers' who meet every week and has been enjoying the time she spends with them and the help everyone has to offer. There are other workshops, and with the guidance and friendship, she has expanded her work into Abstract and Wild Animals. She has been displaying her work at different Art Shows for the past couple of years.
When people ask her if she still likes painting, she will tell you that there is nothing more relaxing and makes you feel proud of your work, especially when friends and family compliment you.
