Sandy McIntire is a successful artist and musician living in Mount Hope, West Virginia. She is a juried member of Allied Artists of WV and an associate member of West Virginia Watercolor Society and the Southern Watercolor Society as well as a member of Greenbriar Artists. Her watercolors have been accepted in juried shows by the West Virginia Watercolor Society and the WV Division of Culture and History.

McIntire's current artwork is primarily in watercolor, however she has won awards from the Beckley Art Group for her collages. She also worked for 10 years in clay before concentrating her focus in watercolors.

McIntire describes her artwork saying, “I like to use bright colors and strong contrast to portray people and scenes that attract me. My goal is to attract and absorb those who see my art and to move my viewers with my sense of delight in our world.”
