Adiva Or, Painter
Born in Tel Aviv, granddaughter of the Tel Aviv sculptor, Moshe Nimovsky
Painting with different materials including acrylic, oil, watercolor, chalk, charcoal, pencil, putty, glue, material from the earth, and more.
Most recently, Adiva has painted mostly abstracts.
Studied and still studies, has exhibited and still exhibits her work in solo and group exhibitions in galleries in Israel and around the world.
Member of the Professional Union of Visual Artists in Israel as well as a member of the International union.
From the words of Dr. Anton Biderman: “Adiva Or paints in an abstract manner,she is a quality artist who challenges the human thought and imagination in a professional and experiential manner..”
Yoel Emet writes: "In her paintings, there exists a documentation of a volcanic eruption of emotions and self-testing of creation processes, personal growth and empowerment in vibrant colors where fiery colors – red and yellow – are dominant. The images burst out from the canvas on to the viewer..The artist discovers, in an abstract manner that which is hidden inside as an impression of real experiences that strive for universes that can only be reached in one’s imagination.”

Following my retirement from the field of architecture I searched for occupational areas of interest and chose to become a creative artist. I started by working with mosaic and then after searching for additional areas of interest I chose to focus on sculpture. I sculpture in the studio in my home and I am apprenticing with the multi disciplinary master Alexander Cherkov. Most of my sculpting is in a realistic style which is aligned with body language and draws inspiration from subjective feelings and is influenced from personal daily interactions and primarily seeks to infuse warmth and human emotion. Some of the works are drawn from my inner imagination and are intended to express love, embrace and longing and some are figurative and intuitive in a search of ways to express my emotions.
I have participated in group exhibitions and I have presented my work in a solo exhibition in the Museum of Ashkelon.

I was born in Kiryat Shmona in 1970.
I work as a PE teacher.
My creations and my arts I met when I was a child from my visits at Ein Hod.
My father was a great artist that made wooden ships. He was my inspiration.
He is the reason that I wake up early every morning to create in a matter of determination and diligence way.
Painting for me is some kind of tool to heal and develop spiritually.
It is a place where your soul find peace, and the creation is endless and without any limits.
My paintings are shown in this exhibit, the painting are here to show release from all and relaxation, far away from all setting, limits and formats.
The painting is intuitive, and build from many color layers, from my will to create harmony in the idea to destroy and rebuild.
I build my choices by color and composition, by the moment and my present experience.
My healing is experience in the end of the painting while prolong observation

Esther Kahaner - About me
Painting has become my passion since it was part of my cognitive rehabilitation process due to a boat accident. There I started to love painting and learnt how to paint in different techniques and artistic styles.
I have been taking summer and winter courses at The Art Students League of New York over the last three years
I completed 2 years of studying at Yifat laist- Art studio and 2 more years at the Shenking Center at Tel Aviv.
I find my inspiration from people and nature. I like travelling and taking photos wherever I am.
My style is realistic but I bring my own perspective as well.
I use different types of materials such as acrylic and oil and paint directly onto the canvas.
My works were displayed at an Israeli Art Exhibition at Bank Hapoalim Tel Aviv Israel (2019).

The connection to photography began in high school. An independent photographer who displays her works in group exhibitions in galleries throughout Israel and abroad.
In her works the artist deals with the connection between the camera and the colors in the artist's work. He often works with techniques of light and shadow.
Light is inner happiness - apart from giving depth to images, the shadows themselves can be a subject for a picture.
There is something mysterious about dark shapes. The observer becomes curious about the nature of the character casting the shadow, and the shadow can also be used to fill an empty space in the picture frame. Combining an object with its shadow gives depth and interest to the picture.
Deals with issues of personal existential situations, conflicts and connections in the human psyche and reality as a whole. Related to femininity, parity, maturity and even old age.
I use the camera as a tool in a reflected reality. Photography is for me a painting.

Shaul Elbaz, born in Morocco on 1943, came came to Israel at 1956 and after a short period he started his studies of Modeling ceramic at Betsalel (the most famous Art institut in Israel). With a teacher as Gedula Ogen who headed the "Ceramic Modeling Department" Department at "Betsalel" the young "boy" could excel and by the years he became himself an expert in Ceramic modeling. Meir Ronen (one the most famous Art critic) had written in "Jerusalem post": "A new qualified generation of ceramic artists is his way to the summit". Doctor Gideon Efrat, known as the severest critic Art, said in that occasion that the "figurines"of Elbaz outlines the way who can possibly be a developing a "Folk Art" in our land"
Despite all of these compliments, Shaul had chosen to dedicate himself to education. During almost 5 decades he excelled to "create" a new generation of young people dedicated to various domains of Art. The last Decade was dedicated to his "second love": Sculpting.
This decade saw series of exhibitions in all over the country where the main "moto" was "the Creation
At these days he lives in Magal kibuts with his lovely wife Jacky and who is inspiring every work made by him

Ruth Gabor, an Israeli artist, creates and presents large, spontaneous paintings, ranging from colorful to monochromatic. She uses various paint layering and scrubbing techniques to create interesting works that surprise while new details are revealed at every new viewing . In the layering that symbolizes the dimension of time and an external/inner world ,the artist aims to examine a complex present and the taking of responsibility for the future.
