Urban Naïve

Zaza Svan is an artist painter and illustrator from Brooklyn who was born in 1983. He pursued his education in the field of art, earning a Master of Arts (M.A.) degree in Artist/Illustrator from the Tbilisi State Academy of Fine Arts in Georgia. During his academic journey, he excelled in his studies and received a Diploma with Honors.

Since 2011, Zaza Svan has been captivated by the theme of "Urban Naïve," which serves as the primary focus of his artistic expression. His artworks revolve around depicting modern life in the bustling city of New York. Utilizing the forms of friendly caricature and a "Naive" style, Svan portrays the psychological portraits of human beings. This approach allows him to present the complexities and intricacies of individuals in a simplistic, innocent, and unpretentious manner.

Despite the fast-paced and energetic life rhythm of New York City, Svan's works emanate a trance-like mood. His art has a unique ability to influence people in a calm and serene manner.
