I'm a self-taught artist, based in Philadelphia, PA., USA. I've been painting for 40+ years. I'm interested in the process that creates a painting. When I begin to work on a new painting, I have a vague image in my head of what the painting might eventually look like, and as I work on the piece that initial image develops and changes. I think of this process as 'improvisation.' I've exhibited & sold my paintings at venues in and around Philadelphia, & my work is in private collections in places such as London, New York, El Cerrito, California, and Ahmedabad, India.
