This body of work addresses and describes my connection to the environment where I live, work, contemplate and interact. As a resident of Northern New Hampshire I am surrounded and inspired by the natural landscape and in particular the trees that grow there and beckon me to notice them and in fact have a visual dialogue with them. These paintings are about the love of the landscape and the elements of color, texture and form as they assist in expressing this love.
