All of these paintings are of acrylic on gallery wrapped canvases, painted all sides, wire on the back and ready to hang.
I love getting up close and personal with flowers. Here I can show the pure beauty of that flower. Some flowers bloom at night and die at dawn. Many people never get to see them. I always loved Georgia O'Keefe but my style puts more color into each painting. I developed a thick edge of paint to put at the petals edge to play on light and shadows, which give the flower a 3-D feeling. I love staging my flowers as if they were posing for the viewer.
