Welcome to my Enchanting Shop Fronts Collection - I've discovered that I like painting rambling blooms! They're created using collage as a base layer and then painting in acrylic using a palette knife. The combination of the collage and palette knife painting forms a textured effect that draws your eye into all the nooks and crannies that the paint seems to have magically settled into.

Undulating and evocative: minimal figurative drawings in soft pastels
Don't you just love the poetic qualities of a ballet pose? There's something about the swish of tulle that mesmerises me and brings memories of wanting to be a ballerina (like many little girls) when I was younger. The elegance and poise of the dancer about to whisk their way across a stage still makes my imagination wistful - maybe I'll be a dancer in another life!
I've been captivated by Edgar Degas' dancer paintings for decades, and have taken part in several dance-based life drawing sessions. Kerry is a wonderful model I've drawn on a number of occasions, who brings such grace to her Degas-inspired poses that I've devoted a whole collection to her.
