Christine Hausserman

Christine Hausserman is a mixed media artist. She works with dichroic glass that she fuses in her kiln, acrylic paint, metal, and wood in her San Diego home studio.
As an artist she likes the contrast of the luminescent effect of dichroic glass in relation to the very earthy tones of the acrylic paint, which give it that amazing pop. The way the glass glows and shifts in color throughout the changing light of the day brings the art to life and it effects are nothing short of magical. Christine’s introduction to glass was love at first sight, and she hopes you will love this living art as much as she does!

mandala “mandala”

This piece is made with fused dichroic glass inlaid into acrylic paint on aluminum. this pier is six by six feet. the color change as one looks into the center of the circle has to do with looking inward to find our own personal light My circles in general have do do with how we are all connected. The mosaic pieces i craft represent our individual and seeming separate lives that together make up the whole of existence.
