In the Zone: Urban Deconstructivism

My work has been described as “delightful refracted worlds.” In my daily travels, I like to gather visual information from nature and surrounding man-made structures of the urban landscape. Later in my studio I tap into my memory, imagination and emotions seeking to transcend what I have seen, and what I have experienced. Color, line, shapes, form, movement and textures are all very exciting to me! My paintings explore vibrant color combinations with the goal of transforming my observations into simplified lively tapestries!
