Born in Saitama Prefecture in 1978, she is a calligrapher who often chooses natural creatures as the theme of her pieces because of their ability to express emotion, resulting from their innate vitality. Utilizing a style that is closer to painting figures than letters, she seeks to create pieces in which the viewer can feel the scene emerge from the shapes created by her calligraphy.
