Martha Aguilera

Martha Aguilera was born May 1, 1960, in Aguascalientes, Mexico. She had nature ability for the arts which she displays from a really early age. She develops a vast number of painting and tapestry with her unique style playing with color, texture and shapes.
In 1978 Martha enrolled at the Architecture at the Universidad Autonoma de Aguascalientes, where she studied architecture.
After a long period of time in which she got married and made a family, she decided to return to one of her passions in life, painting. In this moment she became apprentice of Rocio Sandoval and Gloria Zesati.

Her innate talent for art has always followed her and continued to grow exponentially. Particularly Martha likes to paint faces that express emotions and sentiments, indigenous people, children, folkloric colors and textures. Nowadays Martha resides in Evansville, Indiana with his family. Where she is an active member of Art Council of Southwestern Indiana.
