Maria

Maria Lipan was born in Rodna, Romania in 1975.
She received her MFA and Design from the Art University of Timisoara, Romania in 1999. Lipan has dedicated her career to both art and educational field.

Her work has been exhibited in US throughout Chicago including art shows in Art Galleries like: Zhou B. Art Center Chicago, River Art Center Chicago, Iron studio, as well as in museums like Koehnline Museum of Art in Des Plaines IL and Merchandise Mart Chicago.
One of her Paintings is in the possession of Robert Morris University Illinois.

Lipan has been teaching at Corneliu Baba, Art High School Bistrita, Romania for over 5 years. In the United States she has studied ECE and has been co teaching in Chicago for over 7 years.

After she became a mother of twin girls, Lipan decided to open a state licensed home school implementing Montessori philosophy and Reggio Emilia approach.

Lipan along with her family lives and work in Oak Creek, WI since 2014.
