Tim Jovanovich

My beginnings with linoleum block prints started in high school. I had the privilege of learning how to carve from my teacher Amy Dubin. She embraced my love for the fishing world and anything industrious, helping me express myself through printing. The first block I created was "When Men Were Men"; sparked from the countless times I had heard my father and other captains talk about the fishermen of generations before who endured through strenuous tasks, yet still stayed with their profession. The blocks I carve are expressions of my love for fishing and the world that surrounds it.
