My name is Pieter Antonie van der Velden(Pierre). I am an etirely self-taught professional sculptor in stone and bronze.
My creativity and fantasy can be recognised in my sculptures, resulting in a wide range of interesting shapes.
I am always looking for small details which may contribute to enhancing the expression. Besides, I try joining lines and contours into a powerful three dimensional whole. Finally, the sum of all shapes within these creations must match the picture I drew in my mind. All my work is handmade.
