Clay Purviance

I am primarily a watercolor artist;

I was interested in art at a very young age. I got my training at the Art Institute of Pittsburgh and workshops from Frank Webb and Bill Vrscak. Both artists are well known around the Pittsburgh area. Frank Web turned my head toward the love of
watercolor, because of a demonstration he gave a nunber of years ago at a Beaver Valley Artists meeting. I also give thanks to the Beaver Art Group and Joan Bobochak for keeping me active. I moved from Beaver County Pa. to Arizona and the Beaver Valley Artists made me an Honorary lifetime member! In Arizona I then joined the Mesa Art League and then was juryed into the Arizona Art Alliance. The Arizona Art Alliance is an organization that represents most of the art groups in the state of Arizona!
