I believe that being an artist is a matter of desire, sincerity and ability. A real artist must have the desire to produce and to create, the sincerity to express his desires and the ability to convey and achieve his goals.

I aspire to preserve the classical elements of composition while bringing them into modern reality. I mix tradition and modernity by using sketches made from rigorous observation of the subject or, more recently, from memory. Unlike photography, this allows me to interpret the uniqueness of a moment in time. I then attempt to make the spectator feel this through the illusion of presence.
