Born in Kiev, Ukraine, Valeriya Khomar was raised and classically educated in fine arts. In 1995 the artist moved with her family to Canada. There she worked as a graphic artist and illustrator at the main apparel and publishing companies in Montreal.
About 5 years ago, in the midst of a successful run, Valeriya made the life changing decision to go back to her roots and started a full time career as a visual artist. And within a very short time the artist found an enthusiastic worldwide audience for her work. Her works have been collected by individuals and corporate collectors in Canada, the United States and Ukraine.
