Born in Trieste, Italy, artist Gianfranco Gambardella draws from his Italian heritage to create works that are real in composition and streamlined in palette. Throughout his life, Gambardella has always continued to keep an interest and self-development in fine art. Since returning to full time art in 2005, he has been privileged to have exhibited at various notable art awards and exhibitions in Australia and internationally.

Gambardella is a self-taught artist and is a realist by nature. He is inspired by places that surround him or visits over time (he loves to travel!). Based in Melbourne, Australia, Gambardella uses various techniques to create enigmatic compositions in his search for new methods of expression.
He has been privileged to have exhibited at various notable art awards and exhibitions in nationally and internationally.
