Jim Cobb was born in the Oklahoma oilfields in he middle of the Great Depression. His work is diverse, from abstract to realism and agrees that his style is as "old as the hills." He asks of his art only one thing--that it talks and has no time for out of the world reason for his painting--it is his way of talking and sharing.
