Monuments without sculptors

I've always been impressed by the stone walls (dykes) in Scotland winding their way up and down the mountains - how long did it take to build them? in what conditions.
In my painting I wanted to make a "minimalist" composition, just a strip across the canvas.

Dyke “Dyke”

Oil on board - 156x115cm
I love these amazing construction in impossible landscapes.
In my way, through the simple band composition, it is like a minimal painting.

Bowser “Bowser”

Oil on canvas - 90x90cm
Monuments without sculptors

Ghost Ship “Ghost Ship”

I found this ruined fishing-boat in Britanny where the fishermen are superfitious about breaking up their old craft.

Trace “Trace”

Oil on canvas - 90x90cm

Cement Silo “Cement Silo”

Oil on canvas - 90x90cm

Grain Silo “Grain Silo”

Oil on canvas - 90x90cm
