Mr. Cesar is a professional artist born in Haiti. Markenzy has been living in Buffalo since receiving his BA in painting/drawing from Buffalo State College in 1993.

Happily married with two daughters, Cesar shares his talents to improve the community. Always eager to help in after school programs teaching art he also coaches soccer for children in the community.

He is a fine art painter and photographer. He does portraits, life drawings, abstracts and installation art. Markenzy wants his work to be seen for what it is and as a black artists is looking for people to display his works and to attract more buyers.

Despite the climate in the world, "The Show Must Go On" represents more than a ballet performance. It denotes the believe that faith and finding a way forward is the only way to deal with the racism the dancer knows exists. She is resolved to hold her head high and give her best to be seen for the wonderful dancer she is and not just as a black ballerina.
