After retirement, 40 years as a lineman and I loved my job I started to paint Mother Nature. I visited my daughter in California and we went to Yosemite National Park for a week and l took a water color painting class that started my new journey into the art world. In 2019 I entered a painting in the Wisconsin State Fair and took 1st place. Eight months ago I entered a painting in a International Artist competition and was notified three months ago I received a Merit Award for it. I have been dancing on the ceiling ever since. Working outside in all kinds of conditions and seeing Mother Nature in good and bad times her beauty always shined through. In my paintings I try to capture this beauty and I mean try, because it is everywhere.
