I am a photographer best known for having photographed the important festivals of all of the Indigenous Mexican cultures as they existed in the last decade of the millennium, a project that earned me a 7 month one-man exhibition at the Smithsonian's National Museum of Natural History, September 2007 - April 2008. I am now deep into a project photographing compositions of refracted color and light that I imagine to be 20th century art spirits that taught me how to SEE that come to participate in my exploration of them, in appreciation of my knowing they exist.
