Doriana Sinnett

Born in Colombia, South America… married the love of her life and raised two high-spirited and happy children. Lives in Encinitas, one of the most exquisite cities inside America’s Finest City, San Diego, California.
Passion for photography was inspired by photographing her family. In 2011, she spent 5 weeks in India which allowed her to see the world differently through the camera lens. A new aesthetic was born within her, observation, color, humanity, life energy.
Upon her return to San Diego, she toured every nook and cranny of the beloved city and beyond looking through this new prism. After some years and thousands of images collected, someone asked, what are you going to do with all those images? Well, in 2015 she was exposed to Photoshop Artistry with Sebastian Michaels and discovered the endless possibilities of using and incorporating her images into works of art. Inspiration and passion intensified. So, her journey continues....
Part of her journey is to participate and submit her work to various galleries and online exhibitions.
She has been published in Modern Luxury, San Diego Magazine and Pacific Magazine. She was one of the 50 artists chosen to exhibit her work from 1300 entrants at the Oceanside Museum of Art’s 2019 Biennial. Has received “Best in Show”, Second place, honorable mention and finalist awards. Her work has been shown at Ashton Gallery in San Diego, Carlsbad/Oceanside Art League Gallery , MuZeo Cultural Art Center in Ahaheim, Thousand Oaks Art Associationn and Off Track Gallery in Encinitas.
