Bassey Ndon from Ita -Uruan, Uruan LGA of Akwa Ibom State, Nigeria is an experimental mixed media artist, a contemporary abstract painter , art collector and contemporary gospel musician. He lectures painting and drawing at the Department of Fine and Industrial Arts, University of Uyo, Nigeria. He is also an Alumnus of the University of Uyo and Haggai Institute, Singapore.
He paints several themes from traditional ibibio symbolism, abstracts, realism and figurative semi abstract paintings.
He has exhibited in Italy, Greece, Singapore, Nigeria . He works with several media especially African textile cloth with chromatic drama to create effective mixed media paintings.
