Her memoir, “ Mud Flower: Surviving Schizophrenia and Suicide Through Art “was released in 2021 and has won multiple book awards.She sees art as a path for healing the toughest parts of being human.Her favorite quote is by G. Richter: “Art is the highest form of hope.”
She holds a Master of Fine Art ( MFA);degree in Pictorial Art from San Jose State University School of Art.
