I have been an Artist all my life life beginning in grade 2 where I started teaching my self how to draw initially through copying, honing my talents leading to sculpting with clay at 10 making machine-like constructions conveying the consequences of initiated actions .
By 14 teaching myself how sculpt wood to create stories about the nature of Nature which is Predator/Prey/Environment connections/relationships which became a life-long pursuit .
At 18 I was reading everything on particle physics , astronomy and cosmology that I could find and a life long keen interest in many Sciences developed .
At the age of 23 I entered The Alberta College of Art and Design (1981 to 85) majoring in Sculpture and Glass Blowing where I started bodies of work that I still pursue to this day .My artistic vision reflects two different perception levels , Macro and Quantum the universe that we are embedded within . Our reality is built upon/out of the causal relationships and connections in the quantum world , invisible to our senses ,yet foundational to ALL.

Portfolio:

Hope Without End

I use scientific data and theories as jumping off points to create visual stories / reminders concerning connections and relationships between the foundational/fundamental underpinnings of reality . In this and other works I focus in on wavelength as inspiration which conveys information .
This sculpture is made from one piece of galvanized steel and is a wall piece which has the mounting hardware included .Size W 14" x H 9" x Depth 3"
