Play and exploration in the use of found objects and everyday materials has been a constant in my practice. My work is grounded in a process based art making approach, combined with the use of non-precious simple materials together with high grade art mediums.

I create highly textural surfaces, which morphs between 2 and 3 dimensional sculptural constructions. There is a continual interplay from complexity to simplicity, where I seeking to find a balance at the point where potential chaos and excess is somewhat harnessed.

My intention is to honor the mundane and tell the story of moments in time, valuing those small pieces that make up the seemingly average - knowing that they are important and can be seen, if you know how to look.
