Modern Abstract

This Series of abstract paintings was created in the early spring of 2012. Inspired by colour and textures of early spring season in Vancouver BC.
I was specially attracted by the layering of lush vegetation formed after few months of rain in Vancouver. For example the lush moss growing on trees, the algae growing on sidewalk and patio furniture.. This series was created using a smearing process in combination to a multi layer process.
