Pedro Ramalho

I was born in Portugal in 1969 and attended the Art School at Soares dos Reis, in Porto, Portugal between 1985 and 1988. I went on to do a Shoe Design
qualification between 1989 and 1991 at the Centro de Formacao para a Industria de
Calcado at Sao Joao da Madeira in Portugal and worked within the industry for eight years and won the prestigious award of Jovens Estilistas.
I came to the United kingdom and
completed a Graphics Design course at the
College Green Centre, in St George’s Road, Bristol between 2003 and 2004. Thereafter I successfully completed a foundation in Fine Art at the Bristol School of Art in Queens Road in Bristol.(2004/2005).

Between 2005 and 2008, I enrolled on the BA (Hon) course in Fine Art at the Bath School of Art, Bath Spa University at Sion Hill and graduated with 2:1 honours degree.

I went on to do the MA in Fine Art at the same place and graduated in 2009. Since then my focus has been on polishing my approach to encompass higher levels of awareness and interaction between people and spaces, in my adopted City of Bath. This year I
completed a period of study at the Florence Academy of Art.
