I am a professional artist with an MFA and have been painting in oils for the last forty years. My most recent work is a series of the 21 California Missions which took 4 years to complete after traveling to each Mission with a camera and sketchbook. Growing up in California, my intent in painting the series was to recreate my cherished memories of fruit orchards, spanish missions and palm trees.
I use the oil color medium to create a fresh and colorful painting. My work is harmonius and uplifting while having a strong prescence of atmosphere and intensity.

Mission Santa Barbara is one of 21 California Missions that I will sell as a series. Each painting is 40"x30" except the Queen of Missions, Santa Barbara which is 38"x32". The uniformity of the paintings allow them to hang in beautiful symmetry a foot or two apart in a small area. Each has image painted edges and is ready to install.
