Hello -- my passion for painting has taken me on a journey involving water colors, acrylics and oils, the latter in which I mostly indulge. Time has evolved my subject matter and style although I still lean toward portraiture of indigenous people and their simplified lifestyles which for me, display a kind of subtle and gentle joy of the mundane routines of life. This densely tropical region also inspires me to put brush to canvas spot-lighting nature at her most decadent best.

I am self-taught, riding on the sheer joy of creation which is a reflection of my own life's experiences as well as an innate desire to be heard through my art.

If you have questions regarding my paintings or wish to purchase one, please contact me. Thank you.
