Chelsea Ansari

Born and raised in the beautiful seaside city of San Clemente, it has never been hard for Chelsea to find inspiration. Her love for the ocean and desire to capture God’s creation has been the foundation of her work.

Art has always been a huge part of Chelsea’s life. As soon as she could pick up a pencil, she began to draw and paint. In school, art was her favorite subject and in high school she was honored with a scholarship for one of her pieces displayed at the Casa Romantica. Throughout college she continued to develop in her work and has been lucky enough to study under local artists such as Rick Delanty. Now, Chelsea enjoys displaying her work in local shows and festivals such as the San Clemente Art festival. She has also had the privilege to sell her work through Lagunaart.com

With the moods of nature, the artist focuses on the wonder and power of creation. Chelsea uses bold textures to bring the paintings to life and show the emotions that are portrayed in each piece. Her goal with her work is to capture the mystery behind the ever changing sea and all the beauty that surrounds it. Chelsea hopes to bring joy to those who experience her painting and give them a glimpse of how she sees life.
