Simone Monney

Simone Monney, Swiss painter

A brief glance at my past, a quick dip in the shadows of my early years... and I realize just how much painting has always been part of my life.

My graphic design studies help me explore new techniques and create a mix of photographic and painting on either plexiglas or canvas. My core mediums are Indian Ink and Acryl paint mixed with pure pigments. The creation of depth and transparency keeps me challenged at each creation. I try to catch beauty where ever I travel and this opens continuously new horizons.

Lastly, painting allows me to express my emotions and to experience my creative spurts face to face with myself.

I exhibit in Switzerland, New York, France, Germany and newly my art is integrated into a carpet production distributed worldwide.
