The evolution of my paintings does not follow a predetermined concept. Rather, my works gradual- ly evolve in an intuitive and dynamic process.
As a starting point, I usually decide on the colors I want to use in the painting. Then I follow the flow of energy, which comes to life in vividly-colored, powerful and expressive paintings.
Nature inspires me. Its beauty and harmony, its diversity and colorfulness fascinate me again and again. The marvelous impressions I take home from my travels, I frequently use in their abstract form in my paintings.
It is first and foremost the joy of painting, of colors, of the creative process itself and of the energy of being and thus of life that drive my artistic creation.
