Ali Gemmer is a 19 year-old, amateur, female artist located in northwest Ohio, United States. Having no professional education, she continues to explore a wide range of techniques, mediums, and styles through experimentation. Gemmer’s main objective is to create work that exudes strong emotion that attracts viewers and deeply connects them to her as well as her work. She typically works with mixed media, incorporating 3D materials or multiple 2D materials. Gemmer recently entered the Contemporary Art Gallery Online “All Color” Contest, winning fifth place in the Mixed Media category with her piece, “Drowning Potential.”
