My name is Justyna Kubica and I live in Cracow (Poland). I completed an artistic bachelor’s degree in Bielsko-Biała, specializing in Textiles.
At the University of Silesia, I studied Fine Arts, specializing in Painting, Drawing and Graphic Arts. After graduating, I was selected as one of the top twenty young painters in Poland in the Promotions competition, organized under the patronage of the Ministry of Culture and Art. However, at that time, I decided to start working in the field of painting conservation and gilding, which gave me the opportunity to learn old painting techniques in practice. At the same time, I focused my creative efforts on ceramics and began developing new projects in this.

My ceramic jewellery was featured in Business Art News. I was also featured as an accessory in such fashion magazines as Flanell (New York), Grazia (New York) and Run Way (London).
My works are some of de pages of my diary, the possible lines of my biography, which I write down when I’m painting. they are a record of the days, they are about searching for my place in the world, a space for my thoughts and observations. Places, objects, people, nature, play of light, colours. I like to be amazed by everyday life. I think that, perfectly put into words my work in Art Review by Circle Foundation for the artist which will have its premiere in May “ In a time when authenticity often feels stylized, Justyna’s work insists on truth: uncomfortable, powerful, and ultimately human”.
A restless artist constantly looking for new challenges, walking my own paths. My ceramic jewelry was created out of this search. It is eccentric and not for everyone, only for brave people who like to forge their own paths.
