Daniel Forster

Swiss born photographer Daniel Forster moved from Newport, Rhode Island to Jamestown, RI, 16 years ago.
He has started his photography career at the 1972 Olympic Games after an apprenticeship in a photography studio in Berne, Switzerland.
He has photographed the last 12 America's Cups, from 1977 to 2013, and
12 Olympic Games from 1972 to 2016.
Daniel is presently documenting
the Rolex Yachting event for RolexGeneva and Rolex USA.
He is a correspondent for Yachting magazines in the USA, Australia, Germany and Switzerland.
In 1986/87 TIME magazine sent him for
five months to Perth, Australia.
His photograph of Dennis Conner winning the America’s Cup appeared on TIME’s cover.
Sports photography apart, he enjoys capturing portraits,
and exhibits land- and seascape photography.
