The artist was born in 1947 in Istanbul. She has started to express her inner creativity through paintings in 1997 and was awarded at 2001 Turkish Naval Forces Painting Competition. She adventured into sculpturing in Ayla Erdogan-Sarma Workshop in 2001. Since then she had 4 solo sculpture and painting exhibitions in Istanbul and several group participations in Istanbul, Vienna and Paris. She is continuing her works at her own studio in Istanbul since 2006.
