Karen Stillwagon

I have always been an artist, being able to draw what I see. In 1985, my senior year at Marshfield High School my class schedule consisted of four art classes and my two requirements needed for graduation. In 1996 I took my passion a step further and went to college. After receiving my AA at Southwestern Community College I continued on to earn my Bachelor of Science, majoring in art, minoring in literature.

For me being in a creative state of mind is like traveling the world, and it takes me all over. My works has consisted of oils, pastels of animals and seascapes down to charcoal pet portraits. Last year I started drawing birds, which is where I find my new passion. I am still a pet artist where I am commissioned to do portraits of a family’s furry loved one.

My webpage contains original works of for sale along with a gallery of my pet portrait.

Enjoy!
