Born in the South of Italy, from an early age, Mirella Raganato, known as RAMI, showed a keen interest in drawing and painting. Later she approached sculpture and in 2009 dedicated her energies to Iconography, resulting in one-year certificate in Iconography in the Abbey of Santa Maria of Pulsano, an ancient Gargano Monastery in Puglia. In 2012 Rami got a diploma as a Master of Arts and an academic diploma as Doctor of Arts Honoris Causa by Accademia Santa Sara in Alesssandria, Italy, in 2015. She has participated in various Art Exhibitions both in Italy and abroad and she has won many awards, including: “The First Prize” and a “Certificate of Merit” in The National Contest “Modern Art 2013”; Premio Biennale “Gondola per l’Arte” - Venezia, 2012; “Premio della Giuria e della Critica” al Concorso Internazionale La Spadarina, Piacenza 2016; Premio Internazionale Michelangelo, Roma, 2019.
