Bookstand

I made this piece over the course of two years as a wedding present. During those two years, I'd restarted twice (I was new to woodworking still), and had missed the wedding deadline. But! That wedding gave me great inspiration for the final version of this project. That's because at the wedding I caught the bouquet that was thrown, and it ended up becoming a part of the final project. Those flowers were cast in resin and added to the center of the bookstand. I like how it turned out, even if it was late!
