As an abstract painter, I am drawn to the expressive possibilities of geometric abstraction. Working primarily with acrylic on canvas, my creative process often involves the use of a palette knife, creating rich textures that invite touch and add depth to my work. My paintings are reflections of my mood in the moment, weaving together multiple emotions into a single piece. This spontaneous approach means each painting is a unique narrative of layered feelings.
White dominates my color palette, serving as both a canvas and a voice for the contrasting hues and textures I incorporate sparingly. I believe that simplicity in color allows the texture and form to take center stage, creating a space where viewers can pause, reflect, and engage with the work on a deeper level.
I don’t use sketches to plan my paintings; instead, I embrace experimentation, allowing each stroke and technique to evolve naturally on the canvas. This organic process often leads to unexpected surprises, capturing the essence of spontaneity and discovery.
For me, painting is a journey that begins with the first stroke and unfolds continuously until I feel the work no longer provokes a reaction. Each piece is a dialogue—between my inner self and the viewer—aimed at stimulating reflection and awareness. My goal is to create art that not only captures my emotions but also resonates with others, offering them a chance to explore their own perspectives through the lens of abstraction.
