Visit my gallery

My gallery is in Somerset West in the grounds of my guest house, Penny Lane Lodge.

I regularly exhibit at South African Society of Artists exhibitions at Kirstenbosch Gardens. Also through the Western Cape Watercolour Group, an established group of artists who live and work in the Somerset West, Stellenbosch, Cape Town area. Although our name suggests that we are watercolourists, our members work in all media, as will be demonstrated at our next exhibition "Across the Palette" which will be held in early May.

Across the Palette

Our local art group, which I currently chair - The Western Cape Watercolour Group - held it's annual 'Across the Palette' exhibition last month. Although our name suggests we are a group of watercolourists, our members work in a variety of media - as do I.

Our judges for the selection were internationally reknowned artist, Derric van Rensburg, well-known local artist Di Ackerman and local figure-drawing tutor, Lana Faasen. I was please to be awarded a 3rd prize and 2 highly commended awards. These are my paintings from the exhibition.
