Ann Hamrick Burns

I consider myself an emerging artist as I discovered a love of drawing in my mid fifties, quite by chance. I have had no formal training. My favorite mediums are soft pastels, charcoal and watercolor. My work comes from my own emotions and perceptions of the world around me. I am an American but I have spent the majority of my life abroad, primarily in the Middle East and Africa. My father was an American Diplomat with the Foreign Service. I do come from a family of artists.
